2020 Reflections

This year was a forest fire. A raging monster that created chaos and uncertainty. Starting with the Australian bushfires, the dominoes toppled, one by one. This year turned our lives upside down. It burned away what was normal. The covid19 pandemic was only part of the equation. With all this horror, it seemed like the only thing left would be ashes. But with every fire, comes new growth. We learned of family and togetherness. We fought for social justice and what was right. We were innovators and artists. 2020 was a year of lows, yes. But it was also a year of community and change.
